You can\u2019t buy drugs at a chemist store. Locals get their medicines at hospitals. You will be required to take a lot of efforts for outdoor treatment. Mostly vegetarian dishes are served with rice, veggies, and baked beans. Bhutan\u2019s national dish is ema dates which are prepared with red or green chilli and cheese \u2013 sometimes it is spicy.\u00a0 Bhutanese don\u2019t kill animals; it is a Buddhists country that preaches non-violence. Meat is brought here from India or Nepal; even most in unrefrigerated conditions. It appears to be hacked and separated. You will hardly find a tasty non-vegetarian dish.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Alcohol: <\/strong>There are very limited options. Better keep some with you if you are fond of. Bhutanese do produce a few wines (sweet) and beers. You have to settle for them if you don\u2019t have any with you.
