Char Dham Yatra is designed for people with a religious bent of mind. It is a highly renowned spiritual expedition. It covers four glorious shrines revered in Hinduism. All these shrines are located in foothills of the Himalayas in the state of Uttarakhand. We design our Pilgrimage tour packages covering more numbers of tourist places. In our Char Dham Yatra<\/strong><\/a>, we will cover a number of other tourist places apart from the chard dham as mentioned below.<\/p>\n

Yamunotri:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yamunotri is the source of river Yamuna. It is considered to be the abode of Goddess Yamuna. It is situated at a height of 3293 meters in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The sacred thermal spring at Janki Chatti which is situated nearly 7 km away is the major attraction of the tour. There are two hot water spring named Surya Kund and Gauri Kund. The Surya Kund has boiling water whereas Gauri Kund has lukewarm water which is fit for bathing.<\/p>\n

The temple opens on Akshay Tritiya in May and closes on Yama Dwitiya in November. The ideal time to visit Yamunotri is between May and October.<\/p>\n

Gangotri:<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is the source of the Ganges which is considered to be the abode of Goddess Ganga who transformed herself into a river to dissolve the sins King\u2019s Bhagirath\u2019s forefathers. The serene and pious atmosphere help awaken the spiritual element of the visitors.<\/p>\n

The ideal time to visit is April to Jun and September to November. You will get only vegetarian food. Nov-vegetarian food strictly not allowed.<\/p>\n

Kedarnath:<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is the temple of Lord Shiva (One of the lord of the trinity in Hinduism). It is one of the Jyotirlingas (symbol of light). There are 12 Jyotirlingas in Hinduism which are considered to be most revered. The temple which is situated at a height of 11,755 feet lies in the Indian province of Uttarakhand. It is closed in the winter season (November to April) due to heavy snowfall. During this period, the palki of with the utsava murti of Lord Kedarnath is taken to a place near Guptakashi called Ukhimath. The ideal time to visit is May to Jun and September to October.<\/p>\n

Badrinath:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the temple of lord Vishnu in the form of Badrinarayan. It is located between two mountains named Nar and Narayan. It is considered to be the most significant dham in the Chardham yatra. It is one of the four pilgrimages situated in four corners of India \u2013 Rameshwaram in the South, Badrinath in the North, Jaganathpuri in the East, and Dwarakapuri in the West. The ideal time to go there is April to November.<\/p>\n
